Sofie is a talented singer/songwriter and producer of Ghanaian descent who spent her formative years between Ghana and the UK. Her music is characterized by a soulful, R&B-driven sound that transcends borders, incorporating West African instruments and rhythms to create a unique and unforgettable sound.
Passionate about using her platform to effect positive change, Sofie has consistently sought to raise awareness about important issues through her music throughout her career. She has released two EPs and numerous singles to great acclaim, with her most recent offering ‘We Dey’ dropping to critical acclaim in December 2022.
Sofie’s impressive career highlights include opening for Stonebwoy at the legendary Palladium in NYC, taking to the main stage at the Chalewote festival in Accra, and performing at The African Diaspora Homecoming Gala night, which celebrated Ghana’s 60th Independence anniversary.
She has also performed at the ‘Women of Colour’ celebration in Boston alongside Yo-Yo, an American hip-hop recording artist, and as an opening act for the “Afrobeats” to the World” Concert at the PlayStation theatre in Times Square, NYC.
Additionally, she has headlined multiple shows in Boston and Accra, cementing her status as a rising star in the global music scene. Sofie graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in May 2021 and now calls Los Angeles, California home as she continues to pursue her music career with passion and dedication.
