Known as the spearhead of the Afro Hip-Hop movement, the Ghanaian rapper and songwriter fuses Afrobeats, and Hip-Hop to tell the African story by hard hitting raps.
Formerly known as “Kwame Korsah”, the artist made his debut in 2015 with the single “Snapchat” and has proven himself as a versatile artist with songs like “Fa Ma Me” and the Kofi Mole-assisted “Show Something”. Over the years, Korsah has dabbed into other genres like R&B, Afro-Trap, Drill, Afropop, and churned-out tunes with acts like Flowking Stone.
Korsah grew up in “Atonsu”, a vibrant town in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, which played an integral role in his love for music. The city is known for its frequent street rap battles and dance competitions, which allowed Korsah to hone his rap and performance skills. Korsah draws his hip-hop inspiration from American rappers like Lil Wayne, Young Thug and cites Michael Jackson, Akon and Daddy Lumba as his musical influences.

Months after his unveiling as an act signed to the US-based 610Music, Korsah has dropped a new single, “Hater.” Released on October 28, 2022. The song is the Ghanaian artist’s first release under the US-based record label 610Music. Directed by Jwillz, “Hater” accentuates the joy ride of life with swank visuals as Korsah delivers melodic flows revealing his most profound thoughts about deception.
“I wrote “Hater” two years ago after being betrayed by a close friend I’d known for 18 years,” says Korsah. “I considered this person family, and they let me down when I needed them most. With this song, I express the hurt and pain from that experience.” — KORSAH
“Hater” highlights Korsah’s knack for storytelling. The reflective lyricism is enhanced by a mesmeric soundscape produced by RC Beats (listen HERE). Korsah’s rich vocals drift on the mid-tempo instrumentation like the whips shown in the music video. “Hater” follows other potent visuals like “Show Something” HERE and “Fa Ma Me” HERE which have more than 42K YouTube views combined.
Having signed to the US-based record label 610Music, Korsah is poised to spread the genre Afro Hip-Hop globally.
